The Coptic Revolution

The Australian Coptic Movement (ACM) is honoured to have our guest of honour, all the way from Egypt, ” Fr Mettias Nasr Mankarious” , Parish Priest of St Mark Church in the Garbage Collector Area of Ezbet El-Nakhl, Cairo. Fr Mettias is one of the Coptic Human rights activist leaders for the Coptic Rights cause working within Egypt and had a visible presence at the recent Coptic protests at Maspero Cairo.

The Conference will comprise of :
1. Talks by few Human Rights Activists from overseas and interstate and of course Fr Metias.
2. Video Display
3. Updates from Federal Parliament and activities of the US activists.
3. Questions and feedback from the Attendees
4. Afternoon tea and time to socialise and meet fr Metias personally.
Come along and experience a unique event and listen to the lessons and experiences from a person who has been in the thick of the action post the 25th January revolution with sit-ins with the Coptic Youth of Maspiro.
