Joe Tawadros

It is great to see young people from our community receive great recognition for their talents and services. Our very own Joseph Tawadros is one of the best Oud players in the world. 

On behalf of The Australian Coptic Movement Association and we wish to congratulate Joseph Tawadros AM for being recognised in the 2016 Australia Day Honours Roll and awarded the Order of Australia (AM) for his services to music.

Joseph is an Australian Oud Virtuoso, recognised as being one of the best Oud players in the world today. At only 32 years of age, Joseph’s achievements are limitless and include holding a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of NSW, winning the Freedman Fellowship for Classical Music as well as winning 3 ARIA Awards for his amazing talent.

We congratulate Joseph on this fantastic achievement and encourage our community to attend one of his many concerts and performances. Further details can be found on his website:
