Stand Up for Egypt’s Copts – Memorial Service


The Australian Coptic Movement (ACM) in conjunction with the Coptic Orthodox Church,  Diocese of Sydney will be holding a Memorial Service –  “Stand Up for Egypt’s Copts”.



The purpose of this special event is to stand in solidarity with Egypt’s Copts during these troubled times and in particular to remember the 25 Christian Martyrs of the Maspero massacre and the hundreds who were injured, in addition to remembering the scores of Copts who have been massacred this year.

Special Guests attending include Leader of the Opposition and Member for Warringah – The Hon Tony Abbott MP

We ask for the prayers of the martyrs in front of God’s throne, as Copts throughout the world complete a 3 day period of fasting and prayer.
