United States Commission on International Religious Freedom

Katrina Lantos Swett: Egyptian Tolerance is Democracy Barometer.

U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) makes seven categories of recommendations to the US administration to press Egypt in order to relief the Copts of persecution. The recommendations are based on the diagnosis made by USCIRF that the central problem Copts face remains of impunity.
Apparently such diagnosis falls short of further diagnosing the reasons behind such impunity. Or, the root cause analysis is made but we are still living in the politically correct times; and the time is not right to expose the real problem so that it can be confronted.
